This training centre is equipped with most of the signal and telecommunication equipment in signal,telecommunication and computer laboratories to facilitate the trainees. Procurement and installation of more modern equipment is in process.

A hostel in two floors with a capacity to accomodate 100 trainees is attached to the training centre.Geysers are provided to ensure hot water supply for bathing. Two water doctors and one RO plant are also provided for fulfilling drinking water needs. A reading room with 6 types of news papers and 15 types of periodicals - including technical periodicals in English, Tamil and Malayalam as well as around 13 types of Hindi magazines is kept open for trainees. Computer and Television sets are provided separately for ladies and gents trainees.

A trainees participation mess(compulsory) is attached to the hostel for the convenience of the trainees.

Outdoor game facilities are provided for badminton,tennikoit, volleyball games as well as indoor games facilities such as Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess etc; at hostel.Yoga is conducted for three days from 1 st Monday of every month. Special yoga courses exclusively for ladies are also conducted in demand. Green club functioning in this training centre is trying to improve greenery inside the campus with active participation from trainees.

Audio visual presentations on 24 signal and telecommunication subjects developed by IRISET/SC are loaded in the ‘e-learning’ server of this Training Centre. Provision is made for group viewing the same through LCD projector. Heritage gallery was initially set up in 2004. It was inaugurated on 11.08.2009 by the then CSTE/MAS. It has an interesting collection of oldest signal and telecommunication gadgets. At present 40 equipment in signal and 31 equipment in telecommunication are available.
